Rules for every post

These are required. The FTC holds us responsible for what you say about us.

  • Say it’s paid: “#ad” or “I earn a commission” in the video or the first line of the caption, not buried in hashtags.
  • If you mention price, say it straight: “10 days free, no card. Then $50 a month, or $100 every 3 months, until you cancel.”
  • Show real use: your own account, a real question, what the tutor said.
  • Don’t promise score gains. No “raise your score 200 points.” We don’t make that claim and neither can you.
  • Don’t imply the College Board or the SAT® program endorses Study Scout. Never put “SAT” in your code or handle.
  • Don’t present the free days as a trick: say plainly that it becomes a paid plan if the student picks one.

Talking points

Say any of these in your own words.

  • Built only for the Digital SAT® exam (and the PSAT, which tests the same skills). Not the ACT.
  • A daily plan built around the student’s test date. It tells them what to do today, not just what to study.
  • Practice that targets the patterns behind their mistakes, not random question sets.
  • A tutor that asks before it tells: it walks a student through their own reasoning instead of handing over the answer.
  • The Desmos calculator and reference sheet are built in, like the real test. There’s also an interactive scratch pad for working problems by hand, which the AI tutor can read.
  • Works on a laptop, tablet or phone. On a tablet, students write out their work on the scratch pad.
  • Parents can see progress if the student invites them.
  • 10 days free, no card. Then $50 a month or $100 every 3 months, until you cancel.

Hooks, outline and sample script

Optional. Change every word; your audience can tell when it isn’t you.

  • “I gave an AI tutor the SAT question I always get wrong. Here’s what it did.”
  • “What my SAT practice plan looks like 30 days out, built around my test date.”
  • “The tutor told me to stop doing algebra and open Desmos. It was right.”
  • “I had my student try it between our sessions. This is what I saw on my side.”

Sample script (about 55 seconds)

Okay, this one looks like two minutes of algebra. A parabola, , and a line, . How many real solutions does the system have?

I’d normally set them equal, move everything to one side and check the discriminant. That’s where I drop a negative sign.

So I told the tutor in Study Scout I was stuck. It didn’t give me the answer. It asked me where two curves actually cross, and told me to graph both in Desmos, which is built in right next to the question, and count the crossings.

They don’t cross. The line slides under the parabola and never touches it. No crossings, no real solutions. Zero. That took ten seconds, and now I know what “no real solutions” looks like.

It builds a plan around my test date too, so this type of question keeps coming back until I stop missing it.

If you want to try it, it’s free for ten days with no card, and code NAME gets you twenty-five percent off after that. Link in my bio. This is an ad. I earn a commission if you sign up.

Film this example

The script is a real question, so you can record it on your own account:

  1. Sign in and open this question (Math, lesson 2.5, Nonlinear Systems).
  2. In the AI Tutor panel, tap “I’m stuck”.
  3. When it sends you to Desmos, open the calculator and switch it to Guided: both equations are already typed in. Zoom out twice to see both graphs.
  4. Tell the tutor what you see: they don’t cross.

The tutor words its replies a little differently each time, so yours won’t match the script word for word.
